Spread the love

On August 12, these bonded senior dogs were left at a busy California animal control center and now they need your help to find a new home where they can live together. Their names are Cyndi and Sisco and they are waiting to be saved from the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena.

What is known about these senior dogs

The volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, has provided some information about the senior dogs who need to be rescued or adopted:

SISCO and CYNDI are VERY BONDED SENIORS and their owner was having problems so now they are in the shelter praying for a miracle, they would love to stay together to avoid even more heartbreak. THEY ARE VERY BONDED!

Helping these senior dogs

Even if you don’t live in the area, you can help these deserving senior dogs find a new home – how you may ask? By networking this article with their adoption information. Networking saves lives!

#A4502463 My name is CYNDI and I’m an approximately 10 year old female Cocker Spaniel. I am already spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 8/12. I will be available on 8/12. You can visit me at my temporary home at C231. My former family who owned me for more than a year had to give me up because But they said that I spend most of my time indoors. I seem to be good with small children. I am house-trained. I am learning how to walk on a leash. I am just learning obedience skills.

#A4502464 My name is SISCO and I’m an approximately 10 year old male Chihuahua. I am already neutered. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 8/12. I will be available on 8/12. You can visit me at my temporary home at C231.

  1. These poor, terrified, confused precious little treasures……. OMG: my instinct is to snuggle them both and reassure them that the world is “OK”…….

I just don’t understand how anyone could abandon precious little treasures like Cyndi & Sisco…… Seniors like Cyndi & Sisco are absolute precious treasures (& mostly want to snuggle and snooze)……. perfect “low pressure” companions……

I would give everything to snuggle my beloved treasure MacKitty (who passed away @ 14.5, waaaaaaay too soon from liver cancer)…… I am sick inside to think of these terrified seniors dying alone, afraid and (worst of all) unloved inside a cold, crowded, noisy shelter…….

Sadly owner surrendered pets are @ the top of euthanasia lists & seniors are “the first of all the euthanasias” as they are usually deemed “unadoptable due to age”…… I am heartsick to think of these precious little treasures wondering where their family is & why they are alone as they are euthanized…….

There are special places in Hell reserved for Cyndi’s & Sisco’s former so called family for their cruelty…….

I hope Cyndi & Sisco find a new furever home together ASAP…… If someone is coming to the SF Bay Area, they are both welcome here….. I would be happy to foster them (probably “fail” as a foster since they would think our home is “perfect”)…….

  2. THANK YOU volunteers at CARSON for trying to help these two bonded dogs… this is such a shame and I only hope you guys will DO YOU BEST TO KEEP THESE TWO FROM BEING EUTHANIZED at YOUR SHELTER!!! CALIFORNIA NEEDS to BECOME MORE IN TUNE with EUTHANISHA AS A VERY LAST CHOICE instead of the first few days dogs like these two worthy for new families arrive

  3. These stories sicken me will never understand dumping old dogs at a kill shelter it’s very sad for these dogs if not adopted soon they will be murdered I don’t know how people can do this all they need was love you and this is what they get in return and they don’t know why they are there and what’s going to happen to them I pray they get adopted together

  4. Sharing for their lifes and freedom. They are not old, they still have more years to give unconditionally love to someone. How these owners even bother to have dogs if they cannot take the responsibility to care for them till they cross over.

  5. Cyndi an Sisco are so beautiful!! I wish I could take them but my living situation won’t allow anymore more dogs! I already have 2. I will pray for the 2 of them that they will be adopted/rescued 2gether!! And please can’t u guys give them at least a blanket so they have something soft 2 lay on???
