If ever there was an argument for taking cases of animal cruelty seriously, it would be the massacre, carried out by a teen, that took place on Valentine’s Day in Parkland, Florida. The authorities have identified 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz as the individual responsible for the death of 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Multiple people have described Cruz as an outcast who was “weird,” and a loner with probable mental-health issues. Reports from those who knew the teen have indicated that he proudly tortured and killed animals and posted gruesome images of them on an Instagram account, reported the Daily Mail.
Cruz was said to be “obsessed” with guns and had threatened students at the high school last year – he was expelled from the high school after getting into a fight with a boy who was dating his ex-girlfriend. The disturbing allegations against Cruz continue…he allegedly abused his ex-girlfriend, stalked a girl who he was “obsessed with,” threatened other students, and enough people knew about his violent tendencies that it came as no surprise to many when he was identified as the shooter behind the horrific high school massacre.
Cruz was arrested at 4 p.m., approximately two hours after the deadly shooting; he is facing 17 counts of premeditated murder.
