The search for whoever shot a dog with an arrow in Fairdale, Kentucky, is underway – according to WLKY News, the Jack Russell terrier was found walking along Brown Austin Road last Thursday.
Though help was sought for the little dog, the injuries from the arrow through his body proved to be fatal. The description of what happened is outlined on a Facebook group created to seek justice for the slain dog:
We had a dog (Jack Russell) walking down our road (Brown Austin Rd. Off New Cut, near Outerloop) a couple days ago coming from New Cut Rd. The poor baby had an arrow shot all the way through it. One of our neighbors got him help with Metro Animal Control. They took him to a vet for treatment, but unfortunately he didn’t make it.
Reward for information in the cruelty case
A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for shooting the dog. The block watch captains who created the group have asked for information in this case to be sent via text:
We are working with Metro to find the perpetrator of this crime! Thank you! Call or text Pam at 502-387-4375 or Anna at 502-614-0470.
