How do families just dump seniors without knowing whether they will live or die?Don’t they care about the lives of their loyal pets? Same loneliness should be felt by them in their senior years. Pray this little guy gets a foster and out of this shelter fast.

This poor, terrified, precious little treasure……. OMG: my instinct is to snuggle him and reassure him the world is “OK”…….

I just don’t understand how anyone could abandon a precious little treasure like Jake…. Seniors like Jake are absolute precious treasures (& mostly want to snuggle and snooze)……. perfect “low pressure” companions……

I would give everything to snuggle my beloved treasure MacKitty (who passed away @ 14.5, waaaaaaay too soon from liver cancer)……

There are special places in Hell reserved for Jake’s former so called family for their cruelty…….

I hope Jake finds a new furever home ASAP…… If someone is coming to the SF Bay Area, he is welcome here….. I would be happy to foster him (probably “fail” as a foster since he would think our home is “perfect”)…….

The monsters who surrendered this senior deserve to have their name on a National Registry for abuse and never allowed another pet!! This poor little guy is so scared and confused. Bad enough to surrender a pet you have raised…but to dump in a KILL SHELTER…. you have no heart, no soul…..and I hope Karma pays you a visit very, very, soon for your horrible deed.
