Toffee, a six-year-old mixed breed dog, craves attention – in fact, she is known to nudge the hands of visitors as she looks for love. Her sweet demeanor is not enough to keep her safe – in fact, she is currently on the “pre-euthanasia” list at the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services Department in Texas.
More about Toffee
Toffee appears to have been repeatedly bred – it is unlikely that her life was good prior to arriving to the busy animal control agency. On November 26 the SAPA Urgents & Adoptables Facebook page wrote:
Toffee has the cutest wrinkly face and body. She’s also super affectionate and will nudge your hand with her head for more pets. She’s super cuddly and will make the perfect snuggle buddy. If you are looking for a couch potato then she is the girl for you! Please make a spot on your couch for her. Toffee is around 6 years old and weighs about 45 lbs.
Toffee is past her due out date at the facility – which puts her at high risk of being put down.
Toffee is unable to save herself – her only hope is the kindness of strangers who will take a moment to share her adoption information. If nobody steps up to assist, Toffee will become just a sad statistic – forgotten forever.
