A stray dog was taken in at the Los Angeles County Animal Care Carson facility in Gardena, California, on January 16. The dog, dubbed Miss Pinky, arrived wearing a pretty, pink sweater, but no identification. Though it is readily apparent that the four-year-old Yorkshire terrier mix had an owner, that person has not come forward to take her home.

MISS PINKY showed up in a cute shirt but no tags or microchip. She is feeling pretty lost and overwhelmed and she needs some help.

#A5143533 My name is MISS_PINKY and I’m an approximately 4 year old female Yorkie. I am not yet spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 1/16. I will be available on 1/20. You can visit me at my temporary home at C220.

Somewhere out there is Pinky’s family – please share her information and help make a reunion possible. Pinky’s Petharbor profile here.

Pinky Looks like such a sweet little girl… and she needs to find someone that will care for her. she is too young and healthy to be put down…

She could have been stolen and then dumped. Something could have happened to her owner and the family dumped her. Someone could have picked up what they thought was a stray and taken her with them and she escaped. This dog looks like she was loved and I’m so sorry no one has come forward but they still could. Hope she gets out of this alive.
