A disgusting creep from North Shields, Newcastle, United Kingdom, who admitted biting his puppy in the face inflicting serious and painful injuries to his eight-month-old puppy, while “stoned” on marijuana, was given an 11-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

On Tuesday, Tyler Laverick, 20, admitted he bit the Staffordshire bull terrier named Diesel in the nose because he was “stoned” in October 2017. All of the skin was ripped away from the pup’s nose along with numerous other injuries. According to the Chronicle Live, in addition, the puppy’s left side of his jaw was swollen, there was bleeding in the whites of his eyes, scratches and wounds on his ears and multiple wounds and scars to his front legs. A veterinarian, performing the examination on the dog, concluded the wounds to his head had been consistent with blunt force trauma, and the injuries to his nose and ears were caused from bites.

Laverick had been previously convicted in his absence in April, but claimed he didn’t know anything about his court appearance since he had been in the hospital for mental health issues. Besides the suspended sentence, Laverick was fined and has been banned from having any pets for the next ten years.

Diesel has since recovered and has been rehomed.

  1. The real creep in this case is the judge who suspended his already ridiculously weak sentence. “Mental health issues,” my Irish ass! Pot doesn’t cause sadistic violence. But meth/crack do!

  2. Dont blame weed for this. He was a psycho stone cold sober. Nobody gets violent off weed. He has no business having pets and I hope to hell he doesnt have children. Suspended sentence my ass. Lock him up

  3. Lock this useless POS up and lose the keys……. no excuse for harming a precious little treasure…….

I just want to scream every time I hear of “suspended” sentences…….

  4. Drug induced injuries I am sure. He has probably been abusing this dog for quite a while and glad the dog has been removed from him. Hope he takes an overdose and dies. Would be justice for the treatment he gave this innocent pup.

  5. Golly!!! this guy must have MADE a DEAL with the Judge to Keep Him/Her supplied for the remainder of their term to “SERVE”” Justice on the bench!!! ( SURE THEY ARE)!!!! TOKE!! TOKE AWAY AND BLOW the HORRIFIC INJURIES to this POOR PUP!!! Both the man who did this and the putrid judge need to be run over in the tube at VICTORIA STATION!!!

  6. Sure give this punk a license to continue his animal cruelty – THAT is exactly what a brain dead judge in the UK did – no way does marijuana make anyone act like this – try meth or crack. Poor Diesel suffered horrible injuries because a useless waste of space abused him and Tyler Laverick walked away – hopefully, there is an 18 wheeler awaiting him in the very near future.
