Senior dog is so confused after adopter returned him
Spread the love

An adorable, senior dog is justifiably confused after he was adopted and then returned to a busy California animal shelter. Imagine the joy of walking out of the shelter environment and into the fresh air – hopping into a car and arriving to a real home.

Imagine being loaded up in a car a short time later and driven back to the place which you thought you had left behind. This is eight-year-old Simon’s sad reality. There is no information provided about Simon’s return – all that is known is that a member of the public adopted him and now he is back at the Riverside County Animal Control agency.

  1. So what did this poor dog to deserve a return trip to the shelter? Did the adopter’s give the poor thing time enough to adjust? This is so heartless! Don’t adopt if you aren’t in it for the duration!

  2. Another non thinking human. Thought this little guy would come into your home and know exactly what was expected of him. Probably peed in the house on the carpet from excitement and when you yelled, barked back at you. Gee, just what you might expect a new dog in an unfamiliar place. Stupid, uncaring people and can imagine the confusion in this poor dogs head. Hope he quickly gets adopted to a family who really cares for him.

  3. Any updates on this precious little treasure?

I can’t understand why he was returned either……
I can’t understand how anyone could dump a senior @ a time when they most need love and support….. I just don’t understand these POSs who dump their precious little senior treasures……..

I was unable to see his Pet Harbor listing……. I hope this means this precious little treasure was adopted or rescued…….

I would give ANYTHING to have my precious little treasure MacKitty alive with me……. He was loved more than words can express……
