Wow seriously, I hate to condemn but my dog is having trouble with his back legs also, BIG DIFFERENCE IM DOING EVERYTHING I CAN TO HELP HIM. ( TERRIBLE PEOPLE)
I agree with you. wait until these horrible people get older and have arthritis and their family puts them away in an old folks home and don’t visit them.
I guess some people just don’t want to be “bothered” with an old dog.
My 15 year old Yellow Lab has many health issues including hind end weakness. I’m doing EVERYTHING I can to help her.
I agree with Gens, and have been through this same thing with my last dog. She had so much trouble getting up that she would cry for help and we would pick her rear end up so she could walk around. She also has bladder issues at night so I used a diaper she when she got up in the morning, she would make it to the door to go outside. All responsible pet owners do what they can within their means to help their elderly pets. You also consult with your vet. as to the best course of treatment, not just dump your so called family member in a shelter. These former owners should be made aware of their dog crying for them so they feel some guilt by doing what they did. Have them hear their dog cry. Hope the same thing happens to them and they are left stranded by their children if they have any.
I’m having the same issues with my 15 year old Yellow Lab that you did with your dog. I also help her get up. I, too, use a diaper on her when necessary. I’ve had her since she was 5 years old. I’ll do anything for her.
It makes me very angry that people do not take their commitments to their dogs seriously. To bring your 15 year old dog to a shelter and dump him off when he’s been your loyal, loving companion for 15 years is unconscionable. If you’re not going to honor the commitment you made to him on the day you took him home then DON’T GET A DOG.
Please help! This is a high-kill shelter!

Looking at the video once more it does not look like that his back legs were worrying him
It saddens me every time I read about a senior dog getting dumped.What is wrong with people to the owners the only thing this dog did was to be loyal to you and love you and you DUMP him in his time of need. I hope karma catchs up to you and his beautiful eyes burn a hole in your memory of him. I hope those eyes haunt you for the rest of your life.prayers for Truman that someone falls in love with those beautiful eyes and takes you home where you will be loved and adored

Those owners need to be thrown in those cages and left there and show them what it is like inside of a shelter. Please help this innocent baby.
