A senior dog is scared and alone – wondering what she has done wrong to wind up locked away in a kennel at a busy California animal control agency. Mocha is 12 years of age and on November 12, her former owner decided to surrender her to the Los Angeles County Animal Control agency (Lancaster).

The reasons for Mocha’s surrender are unknown…her former owner may have decided to move, or maybe they encountered a health issue that made dog ownership impossible. Regardless of the reason, Mocha is now a homeless senior dog and she needs some help to find a new family.

Saving this senior dog

Few people actively seek out a senior dog for adoption. If Mocha is to live out the natural remainder of her life, she needs the help of strangers who are willing to take a minute out of their day to share her adoption information. Networking this article will help Mocha find a rescue group to take her in, or a new family.

Seniors deserve love too!
