Sad, old dog appears to be giving up – after a life of neglect, will she know love?

A sad, old dog appears to be giving up inside of her kennel run at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California. The nine-year-old dog appears to have lived a life of neglect…will she ever know what it is like to be loved? Or will her life end at the animal control agency? Will she become nothing more than a sad statistic?

Shelter volunteers’ plea for help

In September, not long after the senior dog was taken in at the facility, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs wrote:

This little lady is very special and she needs some help fast she looks like she’s been neglected and abused. Please SHARE for her life, she’s SUCH an angel 👼🏻 and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save her. Thanks!

Weeks have passed and nobody has stepped up to save this elder dog from her current situation.
