In Corsicana, Texas a five-month-old puppy, with her jaw broken in half, arrived at the local animal shelter on Wednesday morning after having been picked up by Animal Control. Her mouth was bleeding; her jaw bone exposed and broken in half.
When Rescue Dogs Rock NYC stepped forward to help, a volunteer waited until Animal Control arrived at the shelter in order to rush the puppy to an emergency veterinary hospital for life saving jaw surgery.
“We suspect she was hit of kicked in the face by some evil person as she has no other injuries,” stated the rescue co-founder Stacey Silverstein on the group’s social media page. “We hope karma gets you. She’s in a great deal of pain and crying.”
Now dubbed Nikki, the puppy was not able to eat or move her jaw without screaming in pain. A feeding tube will be inserted to keep her hydrated and comfortable.
Nikki will need surgery and extended care, however this five-month-old puppy deserves to live a long and healthy life. To help with her expensive medical expenses, donations can be made here.

The great state of Texas is known for their abuse on animals
Anger is so prevalent in this country and seems to be getting worse. People, even kids/teens don’t get their way, they go crazy. Blame others for the way things are and take out their anger on others and in more and more cases, animals. If you see anyone harm an animal call the police and give them all the details you have. Be an advocate for the defenseless because all these animals have is us. You’d be surprised how one person can do something.
Who does this kind of stuff, my God where is the Humanity! Some humans are jut soulless
I’d like to see how the perpetrator feels when he’s had his kicking in jail, where he deserves the be for doing this to a poor little seeet and innocent creature, and then how he feels about a two piece jaw when the break is nearly down his gullet. There isn’t punishment sever enough for this weakling.
