An adorable puppy was subjected to unimaginable abuse before being abandoned in a duffel bag which was left in the woods. On Wednesday, the Arrow Fund alerted its Facebook followers to their latest cruelty case.
“Fractured femur revealed today through radiographs. This was caused by blunt force trauma to this tiny baby that was left to die in a duffel bag in the woods…her front paws were gone when found.”
The pup, dubbed Freya, is so young that she cannot undergo surgery to help repair her injuries. However, she is safely out of harm’s way and is receiving necessary veterinary care. According to the non-profit agency, the cruelty case is under investigation – no information will be made available while the case is being investigated.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
