In South Texas, where animal cruelty laws seem too often to be overlooked, a four-month-old shepherd puppy was left with severe injuries after her owner told the local kill shelter the pup’s siblings had attacked her. Dallie’s injuries, when she was surrendered on Wednesday, were critical.
Within an hour of having been informed of Dallie’s life or death situation, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC had already made arrangements to have the puppy transferred to their San Antonio Veterinary Hospital partner for life saving medical care. Rescuers do not believe the story told by the puppy’s owner as to her injuries.
“The serious damage that occurred to Dallie had to be from something other than a fight with her sibling,” rescue co-founder Stacey Silverstein posted on the group’s Facebook page. “She was brought to the kill shelter after her owners brought her in stating her siblings attacked her.”
Dallie had definitely been attacked, left bleeding and in shock with severe open wounds. Half of her ear was missing as if it had been “chewed off.”
“The serious damage that occurred to Dallie had to be from something other than a fight with her siblings. We DO NOT BELIEVE THIS SCENARIO AT ALL AND BELIEVE DALLIE WAS ATTACKED BY AN ADULT DOG. That is the only way this could have happened.
Her ears have been ripped off, and she’s dripping blood everywhere.”
On Friday, Dallie underwent surgery. Her condition remains critical. Her left ear had been completely torn off, her head and neck sustained deep wounds, and she required 100 sutures. The veterinarian staff stated the puppy lost a tremendous amount of blood and remains on pain medication and strong doses of antibiotics. Her pain must have been excruciating.

We are very angry !”

The vile and evil animal torturing monsters who took precious and innocent tortured Dallie to the Texas Kill Shelter must be brought before the Courts and charged with their deliberate animal torture and suffering of Dallie. The vile and evil bastards owner blaming their Siblings proving what lowlife monsters they are and what they will do to save their own vile and evil skins.

And if it was their Sibling, their Sibling as well as the animal torturing psychopathic lowlife monster owner who took precious and innocent Dallie to the Texas Kill Shelter must be tortured as innocent little puppy Dallie endured. I don’t care what age animal torturers are, they all deserve to die in agony as their defenceless and innocent victims endured.

Sibling attack? No way on God’s green earth! This has to have been either a very aggressive adult dog or she was used as a bait dog, which I reckon more likely. Precious Dallie, you’ll be in my Thoughts and Prayers for full healing and recovery from this excruciating trauma, especially right now at this critical stage. Please God let this little girl have relief from her pain and the strength both physically and emotionally to fight for survival so that she can go on to live the proper doggy life she deserves with a furever family who will love and take great care of her always.
When her owners meet their Maker, He will pay them their due for this and any other injuries, abuse they have or will cause. I pray the authorities have already claimed custody of Dallie’s siblings before they suffer the same fate.

Texas does NOT BELIEVE in animal cruelty, therefore there is no reason to file cruelty charges. If people would wake up and SERIOUSLY pursue a tourism boycott, charity donations and any other revenue stream, in this sadistic state of ill reputes, they’d change in a heartbeat. She was used as a bait dog! Why aren’t they investigating so they can put this scum in jail instead of giving them a free pass to torture and probably kill other innocent animals? This is sickening and a complete abdication of the shelter’s responsibility toward the animals in that area.
