A puppy suffered horrible injuries after her owner allegedly threw her down a flight of stairs and beat her with a flashlight. According to Joseph’s Legacy, the four-month-old puppy, dubbed Valhalla, was beaten with a flashlight by a man who was angry that she had a potty accident in his bedroom. The rescue group was made aware of the horrific situation by the man’s mother.
Fox 19 News reported that the 19-year-old man who allegedly inflicted the injuries on the puppy is expected to face animal cruelty charges – the man has not yet been identified. Valhalla suffered terribly in the brutal attack – between being thrown, and hit with the flashlight, two of her legs were broken, as was her pelvis.
Valhalla’s pelvis should heal on it’s own – but her legs have to be surgically repaired. The injured puppy will be recovering in a foster home.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
