The authorities are searching for the person responsible for an act of cruelty involving a puppy found wrapped in duct tape. According to Fox 5 News, someone wrapped a seven-month-old Labrador retriever mix puppy in duct tape that covered all of her neck and much of her head.

The puppy, dubbed Eve, was discovered on February 25 and taken to the Fulton County Animal Shelter in Georgia. Fortunately, despite the cruel act which could have claimed the pup’s life, Eve is thriving at the shelter.

Shelter officials and the Atlanta Police Department are investigating the animal cruelty case – Eve remains a friendly, happy young dog, despite the cruel act.

  1. Well there is an EVIL PERSON/PERSONS that Need to be taken out in the Country and BOUND to a Large Oak tree Stripped down and HONEY ( nice and sweet clover ) poured from the head down to the bare little toes!!! Left overnight and come back to see how much is left over the next afternoon…. Cowboy justice!!! Nice and Juicy for the VARMITS!!!

  2. this kind of cruelty should be a felony. Please send this story to the senator of the state this happened in. They make weak laws because they are not seeing the abuse. They have to see it to stir their hearts into doing something about it.

  3. Georgia will do little to nothing to find this bastard – because the dog survived it will be of no concern to Atlanta which is another southern state whose animal welfare is at the bottom of the priority list. I only hope there is some massive street justice dealt to this maggot who needs to find themselves dying painfully and long suffering in the gutter – and no one cares.
