According to CbsNews, Radoslaw Czerkawski’s trial for animal cruelty will begin today on Tuesday in Norfolk County Superior Court. The trial had been postponed four times because of emergency eye surgery needed for the prosecutor  and a request by Czerkawski’s attorney due to medical issues with the defendant.

The two-year-old pit bull mix, Puppy Doe, was found in Quincy in 2013 with fractures, a stab wound and a split tongue. Czerkawski, is scheduled to be tried on 12 counts of animal cruelty, including the infliction of heinous injuries when found in a Quincy park, close to where he had been caring for an elderly woman in Quincy. Prosecutors stated Czerkawski had found the dog free of charge on Craigslist and spent weeks torturing the two-year-old pooch by stabbing her in the eye, burning her, pulling her limbs from the joints and slicing her tongue in half like a serpent. The despicable treatment was described as “medieval torture.

Czerkawski, a Polish national, has pleaded not guilty and told authorities he saw teens in the park who were responsible for the cruelty towards Puppy Doe. The defendant is currently serving a sentence of three to five years in prison for stealing $130,000 from the elderly woman he had been hired  to care for, and stealing $4,500 from the St. Lawrence Martyr Parish located in New Bedford.

  1. THIS BASTARD NEEDS SOMEBODY TO STARVE HIM, STAB HIM AND PULL EVERY FUCKING LIMB OUT TILL THEY HANG THEN SET HIM ON FIRE. HOPE HE ROTS.

      • Sign me up too. He deserves to suffer as puppy doe and more. I’ll light the match and smile. Time these animal abusers got the same treatment as their victims..I would have done his eye surgery in one treatment nice and slow with a dull knife.

  2. I won’t hold my breath on this one, it’s been postponed 4 times, this has been going on since 2013, do we really think they won’t come up with some other reason to postpone this? This POS needs to be punished for what he did and not get away with time served, I hope the judge does the right thing.

    • Barley’s Mom, I live nearby and I will follow the story. MA has been very strict with animal abusers..hopefully they will give him the most prison time that he deserves. This will be an interesting subject to follow. I just hope animal advocates will be at the court house.

  3. He should be horse drawn and quartered, no less than that. His punishment should be what he gave Kiya. He blames kids in a playground yet he did what he did to the elderly woman he a supposedly caring for.

  4. I want this f-ing p.o.s. in jail forever!!!Put him in with an animal lover who’ll torture him Every day in Every way!!!!!

  5. This monster should have been dealt with long ago, but the problem is that there is no proper punishment for what he did. The law simply doesn’t cover the brutality of his crime and there’s no way the maximum sentence will give him what he deserves. I hope he gets it anyway in one way or another.

  6. If they let this monster go, everyone in the entire justice system should be put in prison for aiding and abetting him after the fact! Then when he tortures a human they all should be executed!

  7. No way do I believe this maggot will ever get the punishment he deserves through any judicial court system. His horrific cruelty to this innocent dog has proven his lack of worth to the whole world – he should be given to all the citizens of Boston who came to Puppy Doe’s defense and be nailed to a tree and burned alive – he deserves no less – this useless waste denies his vicious cruelty – is not even man enough to admit his guilt.

  8. Perhaps everyone around there have heard the story and they need jurists out of state. I’ll volunteer to be a jurist on this case

  9. If there is anyway at all to lock this monster up for the rest of his useless life, DO IT….. he will kill a human next time around!

  10. RIP Kiya aka Puppy Doe :'(
    We will never forget you
You will live in our hearts
Please St. Francis take special care of this sweet angel

  11. I agree with all. ten times over. On top of the punishments, he should be put to hard labor, passed to a small army of Bubbas in prison, have untreated prostatitis, hemorrhoids, and joints that never heal.
