Police in San Antonio, Texas, are searching for a man who recorded himself choking and stabbing a puppy, and threatening to do the same to his family members. According to KSAT News, by the time the authorities were alerted to the animal cruelty, the puppy in the video was dead.
Now the search is on for the accused puppy killer, identified as 25-year-old Guadalupe Sanchez. Sanchez is wanted for “making a terroristic threat against his family,” and officials with the local animal services facility are pushing for an animal cruelty charge as well.
As reported by News 4 San Antonio, the authorities have acknowledged that the video of Sanchez killing the puppy is “disturbing.” Jennifer Rodriguez, spokesperson for the San Antonio Police Departments stated, “This is a very disturbing case. It’s a very disturbing video.”
Sanchez has already served time in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
