Simon is a beautiful young boy (just two years of age) who is described as the “rock star” of shelter playgroups, but he has been overlooked at the Los Angeles County Animal Control facility (Downey) and now is in danger…put on 48 hour notice to be put down.

Information about this overlooked dog

Simon sounds like an exceptional dog! Read the shelter notes about his awesome personality:

Super friendly and social with all.

I AM A PLAYGROUP ROCKSTAR
A few words to describe me best are:
HELPER DOG, SOCIAL and GREAT

Simon…..needs all our help.
He’s one of those wonderful dogs who gets overlooked.
Please let’s make him seen….
And adopted.

Help save Simon’s life

Without the help of strangers, Simon won’t make it out of the facility alive. Already, this sweet boy has been at the animal shelter since July – despite his handsome appearance, and wonderful demeanor, he is slated to be put down because nobody has decided to take a chance on him.

You have the power to help Simon by networking this article and helping him be seen. Please post to your social networking sites (Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook) and help Simon’s adoption information make it to the rescue group or adopter who can save him.

  1. I shared the report. Why do these shelters kill the dogs? There way too many humans on the planet but we aren’t culling them? Seems bizarre since humans are the ones who destroy the planet. Priorities need to be realized or we won’t continue in the future.
