There is never enough good news circulating around the country, and when a dog doesn’t hesitate to express his gratitude to a fireman after being rescued from the roof of his home in Maine, the adorable photo goes viral.
On Saturday, Officer Steve McDonald of the Wells Maine Police Department in Maine, posted pictures of the rescue on Facebook. The husky got stuck on the roof after climbing out of an upstairs window. Several passersby spotted the frightened dog, pacing back and forth, and called authorities.
Captain Nawfel climbed up on the roof and was able to gently coax the dog back inside of the house after moving one of the window screens. Just before the dog and the firefighter climbed back into the house safely, the dog didn’t hesitate to give his rescuer some well-deserved kisses.
