At the ripe old age of 15 years, a dog named Milo was left at a busy California animal control agency. Milo, an Akita, was brought to the Animal Care Center at Baldwin Park on August 15 and today, he continues to wait to be saved.

Saving Milo

The reason for Milo’s surrender is unknown – perhaps his family was no longer able to care for him, or maybe they felt that he is simply too old. What is known is that this elderly boy needs out of the animal care center. A quick glance at his photo reveals that he is underweight and shows signs of living a less-than-ideal life.

Milo should be enjoying the comfort of a soft bed, in a loving home – not trying to make himself comfortable inside of a kennel run, away from everything which was once familiar to him.
