No one came to save Matilda: Dumped and nearly forgotten

Matilda knows she has been forgotten by her family. Even those with commitments to adopt this eight-year-old English bulldog a second time, have not come to the shelter to meet her. And on November 28, when Matilda was surrendered back to the shelter, she hung her head low and seemed to have just given up on life.

Have you ever seen a sadder face?

On Friday, Matilda still sits and shivers in her shelter enclosure. She remains in Building #3. Share her plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.

Animal advocates following her story at the Lancaster Animal Care Center have asked everyone to share her story. Make sure to reference A4650886.
