If dog’s are man’s best friend, how could it be that someone abandoned Clark by tossing him into a dumpster in a rural corner of Blakely, Georgia? The terrified pup was left after having been tossed in the trash behind an elementary school while closed for Spring Break. Had it not been for a teacher who had come to work in her classroom, Clark would have died.

Welcome Clark to the Blakely Animal Shelter. Shelter volunteer Debbie begins his heartbreaking story:

Clark’s body language shows a defeated dog. He makes little to no contact and is terrified. When he was rescued and brought to the shelter, he retreated to the corner of his kennel, hung his head low and barely moved.

“He is terrified of people but I did get a small amount of eye contact and a half a tail wag,” wrote Debbie Wise McDonald on the Friends of the Blakely Animal Shelter Facebook page. “Have I mentioned lately that we humans don’t deserve the far superior creatures known as ‘Man’s Best Friend’? They may be our best friend, but we sure aren’t theirs.”

If you know who put Clark in the dumpster, message Debbie. All information will be kept confidential.

  1. I don’t have a facebook, but can they contact Villalobos, I think they would know how to help or who these women can contact.

  2. I think we all know who is responsible, where he lives and what he’s about. However, the code of the ghetto is “snitches get stitches,” so he’ll never be brought to justice. He’ll keep killing dogs that don’t want to fight. Pondscum!

  3. I will be more than willing to help bail you out if you find this POS that did this to Clark. Time and patience are the only thing to make Clark trust again. My prayers for him
