Man charged with cruelty for starving senior dog

Man who starved senior dog is facing charges

A New York man, accused of starving his senior dog, is facing a charge of animal cruelty. On Monday, the Suffolk County SPCA issued a release about the incident, which involved a 10-year-old pit bull named Tank.

According to the animal welfare agency, on Friday, 37-year-old Jovan Robinson of West Babylon, was charged with with misdemeanor animal cruelty for failure to provide proper sustenance to his senior dog, who was malnourished enough that his bones could be easily seen.

The Suffolk County SPCA launched an investigation into the situation after receiving complaints that Tank had been neglected. Robinson will be arraigned in First District Court in Islip on March 18.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The HOME OF OUR NATIONS STATUE of LIBERTY SURE IN THE HELL DOESN”T GO OUT of the WAY for the Neglected and Abused or Tortured Animals in NY CITY OR EVEN THE STATE… What the HELL does it take for the AUTHORITIES to come to the CONCLUSION that there was terrible abuse to this once beautiful dog by this Ethnic Scum Bag!!!

MISDOMEANOR?? What Jovan Robinson did was intentional and should be a FELONY! This maggot decided to cause death to Tank. His actions or lack thereof were so cruel and he is basically given a slap on the wrist – if Tank had died would it have been different?? I am so sick and tired of authorities treating animal cruelty like littering – no wonder these abusers continue to treat animals like disposable objects. Presumed innocent?? What a joke – just look at this dog – he is skin an bones – Tank deserves much better than to be treated like he doesn’t count. I hope Robinson is found dying in the gutter where he belongs. Thanks to those who stepped up and reported him – they saved a life.

Sad how people treat their pets. Happy to know Tank was saved. As for Tank’s owner, he needs to experience what it is like to starve. Give him that experience!

I CAN’T IMAGINE WHAT A SHIT LIFE THIS POOR DOG HAD WITH THIS BASTARD. ROBINSON SHOULD HAVE BEEN STARVED BY HIS MOTHER WHEN HE WAS A BABY THEN HIS ASS WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD BY NOW. ROBINSON NEEDS TO SUFFER WITH CANCER SLOWLY ROT AND DIE THIS USELESS BASTARD. MORE JUDGES WOULD MAKE A BETTER DECISION IF THIS HAPPENED TO THEIR KIDS. SCUMBAG NEEDS A JOB.
