A Florida man, described as “out of control” on drugs, is accused of choking a puppy to death. According to the Sun-Sentinel, Dominick Moses told Davie, Florida, police officers that he was high on “spice and crack,” and stated that he “must have killed it,” in reference to a deceased Dachshund puppy found at a home on the 6200 block of Palm Trace Landings Drive.
Moses was laying on top of the lifeless puppy when the authorities responded to the home on Friday after receiving a call from a woman who said that her roommate was high on drugs – though the accused man initially stated that he choked the puppy to death, he later revised his story and said that he had simply been “hugging” his dog.
Moses was arrested and he is facing drug-related charges, in addition to a charge of animal cruelty. Drugs and drug paraphernalia was discovered at the home by the responding officers.
