A Missouri man is accused of assaulting his girlfriend, and hanging her dog from a metal pole. According to the New York Post, 19-year-old Christopher Brown allegedly choked his girlfriend and then hanged her dog in a detached garage.
The violent incident, which took place last weekend in St. Louis County, resulted in felony counts for second-degree domestic assault and animal abuse. According to St. Louis Today, Brown’s girlfriend told the authorities that her dog was still alive when she fled her home – when officers returned to the residence, the dog was hanging from a pole in the garage and the house was in “disarray.”
The accused man was arrested and taken to the St. Louis County Jail; he is being held on $25,000 bail.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
