With a little help from the community, little Simba could be in a new home today. Surrendered to the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter by his elderly owner who had surgery and can no longer care for him, this one-year-old neutered terrier mix will just wiggle his way into the heart of someone ready and willing for a lifetime of love.

“My name is Simba and I am a neutered male, tan Terrier mix. Shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old. I have been at the shelter since May 03, 2018.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you need to do more than “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your having your favorites among those to “see first.

  1. Oh my gosh! I would take this pup if I lived near CA but I am in NY. Someone better grab him quickly and give him the continued love he was getting from his owner. He has such a huge collar on such a small dog. Even a rescue if no adopter is ready right now. These dogs have a totally different personality than a bigger dog, I think.

  2. PLEASE – some kind person step up for Simba – you will never regret giving this little guy a home –

  3. I think he will be adopted quickly. Simba is cute and young just out of all the puppy destruction stage but still has the cute puppy-ness about him. I would take him in a second if I saw him online or if I was in the shelter looking for a young dog. I hope he finds his forever home ASAP!
