An elderly dog, in poor health, is desperately in need of a hospice foster home. Ginger, who is estimated to be 11 years of age, is scheduled to be euthanized on Monday.

It really shouldn’t end this way for Ginger…she should be enjoying the pampered life of a beloved senior dog with an adoring family. Instead, she is on death row at San Antonio Animal Care Services – alone.
Ginger is suffering from a variety of age-related maladies:

Weak, depressed, needs to be hand fed, body score 1/9 with generalized muscle atrophy- EMACIATED, mild heart murmur III/VI systolic, Suspect STARVATION, kennel cough, endocrinopathy, neoplasia = GINGER likely needs a hospice foster for a RESCUE.

It seems that Ginger had the misfortune of living with a neglectful owner before arriving at the animal care center. Life truly isn’t fair – she should know what it feels like to be loved and cared for.

This kitty was literally frozen to the ground
Pray that an animal hospice takes this loving senior who for so much of his been neglected, finally find a place where he can feel some love towards the end. Pray that this happens immediately so he can feel love showered on him. The so called owners should suffer so much non treatable pain for the rest of their lives.
Please someone please step up for this poor dog if I were closer I would take her in a minute someone please have a heart at Christmas time I pray someone steps up
This is beyond inhuman–it is CRiMINAL. The way society is heading, innocent defenseless senior humans will also be “murdered” one day! God is watching!
