An animal welfare agency in Mississippi is offering a reward for information leading to the identification of the person who owned a horribly neglected dog who collapsed at someone’s door. According to the Tunica Humane Society, its staff was left without words after responding to a call about a large white dog who collapsed at a home on Friendship Drive…
The shelter described the dismal condition of the blatantly neglected dog:
So neglected, so ravished with heartworms, so close to death, we find it unforgivable. This is animal abuse. Someone is responsible for allowing this dog to get to this stage of suffering. Someone needs to be held accountable for their actions. Animal Abuse is a crime.
The animal shelter is seeking answers
The Tunica Humane Society will pay a $250.00 Reward for information that leads law enforcement to the owner of this dog. If you recognize the dog and have valuable information, please call 662-519-1700. Or contact the Tunica Police Department at 662-363-2400.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
