A gorgeous, intelligent German shepherd is not feeling well, which puts him at risk at a busy California animal shelter. The dog, a one-year-old shepherd named Pepo, has been at the Los Angeles County Animal Control (Downey) facility since September 15.
Information about Pepo
On Saturday, a shelter dog advocate posted information about Pepo:
He is dreamy and very smart.
However, he is under the weather.
He needs TLC and a forever home.
Helping this handsome shepherd
Pepo’s intelligence makes his stay at the shelter even harder…he knows that he is somewhere he shouldn’t be. He knows that he is surrounded by strangers. He knows that something is terribly amiss.
You can help Pepo find a forever home or rescue by sharing this article with his adoption information. Networking saves lives!!

Shepherds are faithful, devoted dogs who make excellent companions. Please don’t hesitate to consider this beautiful boy!
Note: All inquiries about Pepo must be directed to the shelter, not to the Pet Rescue Report.

For one— his flea collar poison is dragging when he eats from a bowl. He is beautiful and sweet but not for long when you poison him with vaccines and flea control.
People in California are about as Crass & Unfeeling about their Companion animals as the NO Star State of Texas… It is so sad they overbreed the Beautiful Service Dog ( the German Shepard) that they are now tossed into the Shelter with No care at all… Just put them the Hell Down… Why Not Contact the Companion Dog for Wounded Warrior’s with Such a young and deserving Dog that has His Entire Life time AT THE RIPE OLD AGE OF 1 year for Christ Sakes to be trained Into Service Dog or Therapy Dog… This I don’t understand
