On Friday afternoon, a dog advocate issued the type of Facebook post that nobody wants to see – a post announcing that a frightened dog has just hours left to live. The post is on behalf of a rather neglected looking black and white dog named Rambler.
Rambler’s advocate writes:
I’m going to die in two hours. They said they don’t want to kill me but at the end I know they don’t care. They won’t remember my name. I was right to be afraid of people. I was right to be terrified of this place. No one was going to come and adopt me. No one was going to come to rescue me. No one wants me and I’m scared to die
How to help this frightened dog
How can anyone help this frightened dog? Networking is known to save lives – sharing photos and contact information on behalf of homeless dogs may lead to a last minute, life-saving reprieve. According to Rambler’s advocate, he dies (in Mesquite, Texas) at 4 p.m.
Information about this dog indicates that he is “scared of everything,” but dog friendly.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
This is so sad I wish I can save them all
Why can’t you relocate him to a no kill shelter!?!?! There is nothing wrong with him other than being terrified of that horrible place!
Once they get in one shelter, they’re stuck. Only way out: rescue, foster, adopt!!!
That’s not true they Transport dogs to other shelters. Saw it done in Florida. They must do in when shelters are full. Unless their to lazy to care .
