“Fox & Friends” news contributor Tomi Lahren says a lot of shocking things on the news, but admitting that she kicked her dog five times because the Chihuahua was chewing on her bone too loudly during her morning news show, has garnered a lot of anger from friends and not so friendly readers and animal advocates.
According to TMZ, Lahren posted a video Wednesday morning of her dog, Kota, wagging its tail while she scolded the dog about her eating habits.
“Oh I know, chewing on her damn bone as loud as she possibly could. So I had to kick her about five times during the show.”
In all fairness to Tomi, the dog appeared playful and unaffected by her human’s off the cuff remarks, but even if it was all just a joke, there are enough abusive people out there who could take this as a justifiable reason to beat their pet. Let’s face it – we need our celebrities to condemn any kind of animal cruelty or abuse.
