Forlorn face on dog being surrendered with his toys and bed

Update 11/26/18 – according to Wall-E’s Petharbor listing, he has been adopted!

The forlorn face of a dog, being surrendered to an animal control agency with all of his toys and his bed, says it all…it speaks of sadness, confusion and heartbreak. It was October 15 when Wall-E was taken to Arizona’s Maricopa County Animal Care & Control – West Valley Animal Care Center. Over a month later, Wall-E waits for someone to find him worthy of saving.

Wall-E’s surrender

The Facebook page MCACC West Adoptable Dogs writes about the day that Wall-E lost his home:

Here is Wall-E when he was getting surrendered by his owner 😞
They brought all his stuff.. like it was gonna be there with him 2 months later in his kennel 😞

Prior information

Initial information posted about Wall-E indicates that the family who gave him up was heartbroken about their decision:

This guy deserves a forever family who won’t give up on him ❤️ Please don’t bash his previous owners though. We don’t know the whole story. What we do know is the owner was heartbroken and crying. It was hard to finally help them leave. The staff was crying with the owners. We don’t believe this decision was taken lightly.

Details about Wall-E include:

5-6 years old
Good with kids
Potty trained
Loves to do Zoomies
Lab mix
50 lbs
Not sure about cats
ID: #A3664523
