For nearly a month, an elderly dog, 14 years of age, has waited to be saved from a busy California animal shelter. The dog, dubbed Orson, has been at the Los Angeles Animal Services – East Valley Shelter since April 19.
Senior dogs should be enjoying soft beds and kind voices…being pampered and adored. But Orson is not being pampered or adored…he is stuck in a lonely kennel run, surrounded by the distraught barks of other dogs who are frightened and confused.
How you can help this elderly dog
You can help Orson find a rescue group, or an adopter, by networking his adoption information. You can find Orson’s Petfinder link here.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
