Smiling “Tiny Terry” needs a home out of Ventura County Animal Services. It’s obvious his story just hasn’t been shared, because this dog smiles “non stop” according to his advocate Jill Dyche.

“I first spied Tiny Terry asleep in his kennel, with his blanket bunched under his chin like a makeshift pillow. He looked strangely peaceful, given where he was,” Jill posted on social media.

The four-year-old adorable pooch weighs 50 pounds and is rated as moderate to high energy. He is easy to leash and loves showing off his obedience commands. One of his favorite activities is rolling over and waiting for belly rubs.

Tiny Terry loves to play with toys, is a good citizen in playgroups, however he can get “mouthy, but not aggressive” when he is with other dogs.

“He has participated in the shelter’s ‘Hound on the Town’ program, and LOVES his car rides! And … BONUS… he’s housetrained.”

Share this sweet dog’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. He surely deserves a family.

  1. Tiny Terry is an adorable dog that is perfect for any home. He is a dog that would be welcome in any home. Please adopt and give him the chance he deserves to be your dog. He needs help now to get out of where he is. Just read his description. Trained too.

  2. What an opportunity for a Loving Family since he is already House Trained… and is such a gentle and kind companion animal… if an elder or retired individual could use some company when loneliness creeps up evenings and weekends when having a pet to love on is comforting… Even an assisted living facility to have this guy as a facility pet……. I am trying to give Californian’s a Chance to Step up To the Plate and save this beautiful Guy!!!

  3. Terry, you’re a doll!! There surely is someone in CA that can give you the home you so deserve!! I’ve put your info on Facebook and will keep sending good vibes that you have your very own person to love very soon!
