On October 20, Charlie’s family surrendered her to a busy California animal control agency. A facility which takes in countless unwanted pets each and every day. Did her family know that she probably would not make it out alive? Did they care?

Information about this surrendered dog

A bit of information about Charlie has been shared on social media:

Here’s another look at beautiful CHARLIE, she has a cold but is still amazingly sweet. Her family broke her heart and left her at the shelter because they were so busy. Now she needs help, she has this sadness in her eyes like she knows they aren’t coming back.

Prior notes indicate that Charlie is terrified…she is confused about the loss of her home and her people and she is scared (though not aggressive) in the kennel environment.

Saving Charlie

Charlie doesn’t stand a chance of being saved unless strangers step forward to lend her a hand. Networking adoption information is known to save lives and Charlie needs a miracle right now.

Her poor sweet heart is broken! I would love to give Charlie a loving home, but not only am I in Indiana, I volunteer at a dog rescue too. We just brought in 40 dogs from Florida & Missouri in order to help their overcrowded shelters due to the 2 hurricanes. I pray help comes for Charlie RT away!!! I will post & share her story to help. PLEASE, someone save this sweet dog!!!
