A Washington man has admitted that he was jealous of his ex-girlfriend’s dog, and that he “lost it,” before killing the pup this week. According to the News Tribune, the 20-year-old Graham man killed the toy terrier named Andy after his girlfriend broke things off on Tuesday.
The man, whose name has not been released, has stated that his ex-girlfriend was giving Andy too much attention – the jealousy over the dog apparently led to the demise of the couple’s relationship. Earlier this week, when the man was at his ex-girlfriend’s Spanaway home, gathering his belongings, Andy approached him and was picked up and hurled against a concrete wall – the tiny dog was killed immediately.
The accused dog killer is facing one count of first-degree animal cruelty – he has been released on electronic home monitoring and ordered to stay away from animals.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
