In Richmond, Virginia, an evil creep threw a seven-month-old puppy out of the window of a moving vehicle over the weekend, but the loyal pooch, broken leg and all, didn’t hesitate as tried to chase the car where his humans obviously betrayed him.
According to the Richmond Animal Care and Control, the friendly little pup has been named “Moody Pup” after the street he was found on in the South Richmond neighborhood of Moody and Bland Streets. A witness saw a person driving a gold Saturn toss the dog and speed off. The witness did not get the license plate number.
“Officer Boone responded to a call where a citizen had witnessed this dog being thrown out of a car. After taking a bad tumble and subsequently breaking his leg the dog tried to run after the car further injuring himself. (Insert ugly cry here). Never fear-our team scooped him up and thanks to donations made to our RACC Foundation we were able to support surgery repairing both his leg and abdomen,” the RACC wrote on their Facebook page.
Moody Pup underwent surgery at Virginia Veterinary Center. Multiple fractures to his knee, and an abdominal hernia were repaired with a plate, pins and surgery. And this little dog still wags his tail and is ready to give everyone he meets a smile and a kiss.
“This sweet boy will be available for adoption after his stray hold is up on June 2nd. Pm us if you want to adopt him-he is the sweetest 7 month old pitty you have ever seen.”
