Even when Rosie, the mini pinscher, pretends to sleep, her tiny body shivers in fright. She arrived as a stray on August 25 and her family has not been to the Carson Animal Care Center to find her. The nine-year-old adorable pooch seems exhausted and is missing most of her hair. The shelter is very crowded, and Rosie’s life is at risk.

#A5212961 My name is ROSIE and I’m an approximately 9 year old female Mini Pinscher. I am not yet spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 8/25. I will be available on 8/29. You can visit me at my temporary home at C248.”

  1. Poor baby Rosie!! She’s beautiful but she is frightened!! I wish I could go to CA. and swoop her up! I already have 2 an my situation won’t allow anymore dogs here! So please someone with a good heart an home come an take Rosie outta there, Please!! You’ll b in my prayers Rosie!!

  2. I want her. If a rescue can pull her, I will arrange for transport, as i do legs for volunteer transport. I am in Roseburg Or. I am very good with eyes, disabled, skin problems and have room in my bed for #5. This breaks my heart that she is in such a miserable condition but the fear shaking is way above heartbreaking.
RESCUE–email me at [email protected]. You will then be able to see me on facebook, Hurry.

    • What a wonderful offer Vicki Hood you sound like a beautiful person. I pray you get Rosie. I can tell she will be loved and adored and this is exactly what Rosie needs a person like you God Bless You please keep me posted

    • They will NOT SEE your offer here. You must communicate with the shelter and they should give you names of the rescues that work with them. You can arrange transport with them. Please do this and save her life. I would love to have her too, but I am “pet poor”. Please let us know if you are successful? Thank you.

  3. Hope her family finds her and her fear goes away. If they just dumped her or let her wander away, then may they be in pain and agony the rest of their lives. Animals have feelings and this sweet girl is trying to protect herself but her shivering while trying to sleeps says exactly how she really feels. Rescues and fosters please help this sweet girl. Even check her yourself and then adopt her. She will not be a lot of work if trained properly and will want to please you all the time.
