In Gore, West Virginia, two people had to be airlifted to the hospital after they crasehd their truck into a home in Harrison County on Friday afternoon. Deputies believe the driver lost control of the truck after throwing a dog out of the vehicle’s window and crashed into the porch of the house.
According to 12WboyNews, the truck went airborne, hit the house and rolled over several times as the driver lost control. The extent of the couples’ injuries is currently unknown; EMS and the fire department responded to the scene.
The couple acknowledged they had a dog with them, but refused to answer any questions. The dog was found slightly injured and has been turned over to the Harrison Animal Control. Deputies state the couple could be facing animal cruelty charges as well as other charges of speeding and reckless driving. The situation is being investigated by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
