It’s a particularly bad time to be a homeless animal…shelters are full and more dogs will be arriving soon as the 4th of July holiday approaches. A “dream boat” German shepherd, dubbed “Kratos,” is currently being held at the Carson Animal Services facility and he is at risk because the shelter is already packed with homeless pets.
Volunteers offer insight about this homeless shepherd
The volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, provided some insight about this homeless shepherd:
He’s gorgeous and so smart and sweet but there are over 20 Shepherds in the shelter right now needing help. Please SHARE for his life, he’s SUCH a dreamboat and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save him. Thanks!

German shepherds
German shepherds are intelligent, loyal and devoted companions. Naturally protective of their family, these stunning dogs are well suited to active households. Older shepherds easily acclimate to less active families, they just want to be included in the day to day happenings of their owner’s life.

What happened to this dream boat?
Everyone, let’s try to help Kratos and the other dogs! Thank you very much.
German shepherds are such beautiful and intelligent animals. Many could be trained and used as service dogs and in the police departments throughout the US. Just because they are in a shelter does not diminish their ability to do important work. Please foster or adopt these animals who have been tossed away by their so-called owners.
