Forgotten after being adopted

Three months ago, a dog named Buddy was adopted from a busy animal shelter in Florida – unfortunately, he was later picked up as a stray and taken back to the animal control agency. For reasons unknown, Buddy’s owner never bothered going to the shelter to pick him up.

Now he is in danger

Buddy is now in danger of losing his life – all because he was adopted to an irresponsible person. The Facebook page, Rescue Me Miami wrote:

This adorable boy is in GRAVE DANGER! He will be killed with no notice and very little networking!😩😩 He came in as a stray back in February, adopted 3 months ago and back as a stray a month ago!! 💔💔💔💔 His adopter NEVER CAME BACK TO GET HIM! Now he’s starting to exhibit stress from being in the kennel.

Adding:

His kennel card reads “SWEET BOY”. But sadly there’s no room for him and dogs like Buddy are going to be killed. They kill sweet dogs. They kill healthy dogs. Please help get this SWEET BOY NOTICED 😢🙏

Buddy is confused – he was in the shelter, then he was in a home, then back at the shelter. Can you imagine what that must be like? Thinking that you were safe and loved, only to realize that you aren’t…that your people have forgotten you?

Saving Buddy

Buddy is in need of help if he is going to survive. Please take a moment to network this article on your social media outlets to help give this dog the visibility that he needs to be adopted or rescued!

  1. Buddy is such an adorable guy and deserves to be back in a home again. I hope the person who last adopted him realizes he is in this shelter and goes to get him. Healthy, happy dog does not deserve to die but unfortunately, that is what many shelters still do. We need to change that and also make spay and neutering mandatory for all pets.

  2. I hope and pray a hero will step forward FAST and adopt innocent defenseless Buddy. Humans can be so cruel and heartless. Absolutely no forgiveness!

  3. Come on someone out there, what’s one more doggie in your life? Be a hero(or heroine) and step forward and give this lovely little chap a loving forever home!

  4. Poor boy, I wish we weren’t already at our limit of rescued dogs, I or my brother would take him. I of course hope his perfect person or family comes to get him and give him a wonderful home forever.
If only all those cages were instead filled with dog breeders of all varieties, for life or until they promised under penalty of life in prison to never deliberately bring even one more puppy into this world, and be monitored for life because they cannot be trusted at their word. Then all these horrible problems would be greatly alleviated in a very short time, and for good.
