In San Francisco, animal cruelty investigators are searching for the man caught in a surveillance video kicking a small dog so hard that the pooch suffered a fractured skull and later died. The disturbing incident occurred on Friday, and the public has been asked to help identify the man.
According to WtolNews, the San Francisco Department of Animal Care and Control reported the dog, a three-year-old Chihuahua and Jack Russell mix named Puppet, barked at the stranger passing by on the street. The dog’s owner, Lynda Coburn, stated that before the attack, the man threatened to kick the dog for barking at him. The video showed Puppet running up to the man before he kicked it. And when the dog ran back to the man a second time, the man kicked the dog harder causing the little pup to slam into the wall – resulting in his death Saturday morning at an emergency veterinarian hospital. Lynda could be seen in the video running to her dog and picking up the little pup’s nearly lifeless body.
Dog owners agree the action taken by the man was despicable, and there was no reason to kick a small dog that hard.
