A DeSoto, Texas man has been accused of stomping and beating a puppy to death behind a shopping center next to a dumpster. Paige Armani Franklin, 24, was arrested on Friday, taken to jail and charged with felony animal cruelty in the third-degree.
A security guard, watching a security camera at the shopping center, spotted Franklin stomping on something in the dumpster and called police. Within a minute officers arrived and arrested Franklin.
According to the Dallas News, the puppy’s lifeless body was found in the dumpster with “severe wounds to its head.”
“Cruelty of this type is not only criminal, but despicable,” a media release stated from DeSoto Police Sergeant C.D. Williams.
If found guilty of the charges, Franklin faces two to ten years in prison. The puppy’s body has been taken to Animal Control pending a necropsy to determine the cause of death.
Rest in peace tiny puppy.

The judge should do this country a favor and have him either in jail for the rest of his life, or a swift execution. He deserves no better than those two choices. Until the courts and JUDGES start holding these vile monsters accountable…this will continue.
