Awesome ad campaign features homeless shelter dogs

An awesome new ad campaign is featuring homeless shelter dogs, side by side with fashion models. The brilliant ads feature adorable pups from several New York adoption and rescue agencies, with models wearing designer clothing from MONSE.

As reported by The Cut, the campaign is the brainchild of designers Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, who wanted to work with area shelters to help promote adoption. Garcia explained the simple reason for the novel idea to the Cut, “We just love dogs so much at MONSE.”

The company’s website explains:

MONSE’s Pre Fall 2019 collection features rescue dogs in need of forever homes. Riffing on this theme, we introduce a collaboration with Disney featuring Mickey’s best friend, the icon canine Pluto, who is featured on silk twill cardigans, cotton shirting, and limited edition denim styles among other key pieces.

What’s not to love about this perfectly wonderful idea? Not only do the ads shine a light on homeless dogs, but proceeds from the sale of select items will be donated to the shelters/rescue agencies that provided a canine model. Included in the campaign are dogs from Animal Haven, Best Friends Animal Society, Bidawee, Rescue City, Rescue Dogs Rock, and Social Tees.
