Ailing puppy that died dumped in suitcase in the woods

In Collinsville, Oklahoma, authorities are investigating an animal cruelty case involving an ailing puppy that died from a parasite overload after suffering for days, was discovered stuffed in an old red suitcase and tossed into the woods.

According to Newson6, Collinsville police stated the cocker spaniel mix was already dead before he was placed inside of the suitcase. A necropsy revealed the pup had parasites and that he belonged to a woman who let the dog suffer for four or five days.  Susie McConaghie, owner of Paco Paws Rescue, and who also helps out with the city shelter was heartbroken and said she could have helped the puppy and the owner had she known.

Authorities state the owner of the pup had asked two men to bury the dog for her, but instead of doing what she asked, they put the dog’s body in a suitcase and illegally dumped it on city property. It has not been determined by the Rogers County District Attorney if the men or the owner will face charges.

Will the cops bother to check that suitcase for DNA and fingerprints, or does a dog’s murder matter to them?

She should face charges for letting thus dog suffer here we go again letting them off with no charges how about how much that poor dog suffered and she will probably get another dog and do the same thing nothing is going to change until the laws get tougher this was a living breathing animal that could feel pain it’s so discouraging

Isn’t there a law that owner/ guardian gt proper vet care when there is an emergency? That poor innocent could have been helped if the owner had only contacted someone who was in the position to get help. There should be a prosecution if the owner was just too lazy, on drugs, alcoholic or the like. In that case, the substances would have had priority to puppy care. Police must investigate. RIP baby. So sorry you human failed you

Unbelievable!!! I think all the so-called humans involved are guilty of animal neglect and unlawful (not to mention completely disrespectful) disposition of a corpse……

This nasty old bat needs to be hogtied, stuffed in a suitcase and dumped in the woods for her cruel and neglectful treatment of a defenseless animal – there she can rot away and no one cares. What do Oklahoma authorities need to prosecute this maggot? A signed declaration? She neglected to give this dog medical treatment and did nothing but allow him to die and dumped in the woods – Let the punishment fit the crime – I am so sick and tired of so called ‘authorities’ turning deaf, dumb and blind to animal cruelty.

The OWNER DID NOT PAY FOR MEDICAL!!!!!!!!!!! Of course she should face charges. She should be jailed for minimum 1 year, fined $10,000 and her crappy name put on a national registry so that she may never be allowed to own another pet………ever!

Looks to me there should be plenty of evidence to find the cretin that committed this senseless animal abuse and on a puppy you no good sub-human..I really hope Texas will address the animal situation that goes on in their state

YES, THEY FACE CHARGES. Her, for not getting the help that the dog needed and the men for not getting the dog to the proper authorities. Instead, they dumped him like trash. All three should be charged. And the woman should be banned for life, from having an animal of ANY KIND.
