Two adorable canine thieves were recently outed by their family’s postal carrier in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. The naughty dogs, Bull and Bear Jordan, crawled into a mail carrier’s vehicle and ate her lunch!

The viral note left behind

The postal carrier was concerned that the dogs’ unexpected meal might upset their tummies, so she left a note outlining was was eaten for their owner. The note said:

“Hey! I drove up to deliver a package and both of the dogs crawled in my truck. They got into my lunch and ate an egg and some carrots and pumpkin seeds. I don’t know if that will upset their tummies, just FYI!”

Owner Carol Jordan posted a photo of the note on Facebook and it’s been shared thousands of times.

The apology

As reported by WTKR, the naughty pooches “wrote” an apology to the postal carrier and their mom included a Subway gift card to replace the lunch that they gobbled up. It turns out that this duo has a history of being “bad dogs.” Their owner told the news agency that they’ve ruined a tractor, dug some holes and even tore down a few down spouts.

  1. What a cute story and so true sometimes. Dogs don’t think of what they are doing especially when it comes to food. If it smells good (or even questionable) they will go after it. Glad it turned out well for the postal deliverer and the pooches.

  2. West Virginia : Hope someone doesn’t “take matters into their own hands and Shoot, these guys ” from other post’s there has been about West Virginia “a lot of people down there have ) tolerance” .. I had family from Clarksburg and Elkins and have always wanted to go see that state… Hope these two beautiful will learn how to control their urges prior to GETTING INTO SERIOUS TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Great story – these two bad boys are adorable and thanks to a kind postal carrier no harm was done. Bull & Bear’s owner apparently understood that these boys are trouble makers and did the right thing – made them write an apology and send a gift card for a free lunch. They need to be watched carefully – not everyone is so nice and we sure don’t want to hear that some idiot hurt them.
