A friendly and lovable three-year-old female bulldog was tossed away. On July 30, Addie was brought to the Carson Animal Care Center; she had no microchip nor did she wear a collar. Shelter staff and volunteers suspect her breeding days may have been over, and although she is such a young and beautiful dog, she was no longer of use.

Addie’s Pet Harbor adoption information:

“#A5204996 My name is ADDIE and I’m an approximately 3 year old female Bulldog. I am not yet spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 7/29. I will be available on 8/4. You can visit me at my temporary home at C238.

Saving Carson Shelter Dogs volunteers describe Addie:

“ADDIE is pure love but this sweet girl was USED for BREEDING and has no tag or chip. Hopefully she will find a new family where she can live inside and feel safe and loved. Please SHARE for her life, she’s SO special and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save her. Thanks! “

(INTERESTED IN FOSTERING? If you’re in LA, OC, San Bernadino or Riverside County and would like to apply to foster a Carson pup, please visit CarsonFosters.com to complete the online foster application.)

Please share Addie with friends, family, approved rescue organizations and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. Addie may have lost her “girlish figure” but doesn’t she deserve a pampered and loved life from this moment forward? We can all make it happen.

  1. Addie has been spent to make money for her scum, vile so called owners who now dump her. She still has many good years left for a family who will truly love her for herself and bathe her in love. Rescues would be great if they would take her and help secure a family for her.

  2. Someone please step up for Addie – she has been used, abused and dumped – she deserves a safe loving home and being stuck in Carson means her time is very limited. Addie is young and all she needs is a family to love and care for her. This is typical of all breeders, dumping animals when they can no longer produce. I hate breeders – selfish, self centered and have no concern for the animals, only the money they bring in.

  3. These heartbreaking stories become more and more difficult to read, how can people be so unkind. Bless this little one, I hope that she is soon in a loving forever home, well loved and cared for.
