A $5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a puppy strangulation case out of Santa Rosa, California. The Animal Legal Defense Fund has offered the sizable reward to help bring justice to an eight-month-old puppy who was discovered dead inside of a black backpack late last month.
The cruelty case
On August 10, Sonoma County Animal Services provided details about the cruelty case:
We are currently conducting an investigation of animal abuse and we are requesting assistance from the public. On Friday, July 27th at about 3:15 PM someone located a backpack on the side of the road at Todd Rd. near Stony Point Rd. in western Santa Rosa.
According to the animal welfare agency, the dog inside of the backpack was a tan and white, female Chihuahua mix who was approximately eight months of age. The puppy was inside of an “Outdoor Products” black backpack with red straps.
A necropsy concluded that the puppy died of asphyxiation by strangulation; she did not have a microchip.

A thought crossed my mind with his dog being small. Maybe this was done by a sociopathic kid and the parent was trying to cover it up. By the way I hope the maggot savage is found. And I wish nothing for them except pain, misery and everything bad.
