Surrendered senior dog on list to be put down
Spread the love

A 14-year-old dog is at risk of prematurely losing his life after being surrendered to a busy Texas animal control agency. The dog, named KB, lost his home because his owner stated that he (or she) could no longer afford to care for him.

The sad situation for this homeless senior dog

KB is an elder dog…who has developed an upper respiratory infection. He is considered to be “urgent” which means that he may be put down, even though he has done nothing wrong. This senior hound mix did nothing to deserve his current situation – he did not ask to be away from his family and home and he certainly did not ask to be “on the list” of dogs who are at risk of being put down.

Helping this deserving senior dog

KB is relying on the help of strangers who are willing to take a moment out of their day to try and save his life. That means YOU! Networking saves lives. Please take a moment to network this article, with KB’s adoption information, to help it reach someone who may be able to help.

  1. I am so sick of people. !!!!!! Period. This what you wanted to happen to that puppy you brought home 14 years ago !!!!!POS I ashamed to be called human ????

  2. Sharing this precious Sr. for his life and freedom. I just don’t get it why people just give up their dogs just because they cannot care for them. Why can’t they just ask!!! I am sure there are wonderful people who are willing to help. So they find it easier to take him to a kill shelter? I guess that what happen to even human seniors when we get old, nobody want to deal with us anymore, they forget we took care of them when they were young.

  3. Poor baby! So since he was dumped at the shelter why do u put KB on the danger list? Why do u have to put him down? He just got there! He did nothing wrong! What’s wrong with u shelter’s an the person who dumped him? KB, you’ll b in my prayers, I’m sorry humans have let u down!

  4. KB’ s Facebook page has very little activity. If you are really interested in saving his life, please help by sharing his FACEBOOK page. Just commenting here does nothing.

  5. K.B. was never adopted or rescued. Instead, the shelter destroyed her because she got ill, probably kennel cough, which is treatable but no one stepped forward to save her. Run free, K.B., at the Rainbow Bridge. I am sorry that you were let down by humans.
